SchwettyMeatsPizza This album is mesmerising, from start to finish. Just as it is described, there is something in there for everyone. The album as a whole still feels encompassing, but each song does have a different diffused feeling. It is as reflective as the time you let fade, while it simmers on your mind as your surroundings melt away. Some tracks are more euphoric than others. But you will find peace in these solemn reverberations any direction you go. The album is also quite enchanting to behold. Favorite track: Jardin des Étoiles V.

about

Drawing inspiration from the films of french artist Chris Marker and the exploration of memory as a construct of the present the Jardins albums are timeless in nature and purposely genre-less. The compositions that are featured on these recordings are improvisational, emotional and sprawling in nature, acknowledging process and the creation of the present as as part of the past and future. “We do not remember. We rewrite memory much as history is rewritten. How can one remember thirst?” - Chris Marker, Sans Soleil
